Production Team did a great job this weekend. They felt the moments and rolled with it accordingly. Great job John Kim on roamer. You did an amazing job capturing the dynamic energy this weekend. Love to see that level of passion and excellence from the team. We are taking it to a whole other level. Ariel did a great job on CG keeping up and even being a step ahead by reading Pastor Benji's next move, very impressed! Great job team.
Molls! WOW! Talk about a well-hidden secret! I'm blown away (and knew you had it in you!) I loved the placement of the band members this week. I'm bummed I missed it in person, but vacation didnt stop me from watching today! And Mark, I always enjoy the crispness of your voice and passion in your worship! Great job team!
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I am truly honored and blessed to be a part of this WAM team. I'm amazing by what is done week after week. Fuller said it well on Thursday, we don't know what God is going to do each week, but we know it's going to be good.
I thought the energy was really good on stage and I think the band really brought it this week.
I have to give a shout out to Rachel for being so encouraging all the time. Thank you girl. You are truly amazing!
I also have to give a shout out to Mark for being so incredibly awesome with harmonies! This week was definitely a week where I felt really comfortable and solid going into Sunday with the harmonies - and I totally owe that to you, Mark. Thank you thank you thank you!
Because I'm my own worst critic, I definitely wish I had tried to work out more solid "pre-planned freestyling" (Is that an oxy-moron?). I tried to but had a lot of difficulty with it primarily because trying to do it along with the recording definitely didn't work and not having as many opportunities to iron those parts out with the band can be challenging. I think it's more about having confidence in one's own voice, which I am trying to work on. But all in all I think it was good.
I've seen this commented in previous weeks, but I would like to third/fourth the notion of regrouping between each service as a team and praying before each service. I try to do this on my own, but the power of group prayer can't be understated. I struggle with this all the time and I know how refocusing and getting spiritually ready each time we hit that stage is so important and so vital to really honoring God and sharing the Holy Spirit with the congregation.
However we can grow both musically and spiritually - I'm all for. I hope this makes sense, sometimes it makes more sense in my head... but yeah. :)
