Ya'll know I don't bring much technical critique. All I can say is - Fuller - your guitar shrunk in the wash! LOL! :) Love it!
Yo WAM! AWESOME morning of worship! Just loved the blend of the songs. TOTALLY loved Praise the King. This was a perfect set for displaying the diversity of Newhope!!! There was totally something for everyone! A-MA-ZING!
Jenny - love when you roll in and share. Hope you are feeling better, but sure couldn't tell up on that stage that you were under the weather.
Great job ya'll. One of those weeks that I'm bummed I didn't get to play :) I know this doesn't sound like a compliment - but my first reaction was that things seem just so 'balanced'...I don't mean, in terms of the mix or sound - though it did sound pretty good...I mean, in terms of the tone of the presentation, the pacing, the dynamics. Everyone seemed to be in control of their parts -and it made a much greater whole!
Other things I especially loved: 1. Buster is the man on bass! 2. awesome, awesome use of 4 female vocalists...
Listening to this one over a week later... you know, i think this might be the strongest "Gonna Lift Your Name" run I've heard. Maybe the presence of the organ? vocals too.
