All I can say is Nick rocked as a switcher - keep in mind guys, that coming in Sunday morning to find out that your switcher is not there would be like Fuller finding out the sound guy isn't there, so he has to run the service from the sound board! Nick was a calm and unruffled as ever! 8 )
Just wanted to comment as someone who was in the congregation - the harmonies this weekend were so amazing. Seriously. Sounded BEAUTIFUL. I had two guests with me (it was their first time at newhope) and they were so impressed and commented on how authentic worship was and how amazing the message was.
I also LOOOOOOOVED how in How Great Thou Art and Away in a Manger the verses were split - we don't do this much and I thought it was wonderful to see different voices lead different parts of the songs. It added a wonderful element.
Also, Tenea and Chris - you guys were FANTASTIC!! So excited to hear you lead!!
This week was a true testament to holding one another up! The whole team was flexible from rehearsal on Wednesday night all the way thru the changes for Sunday morning Run Thru and then everyone brought energy and authentic worship to all 3 services and I want to thank everyone for their part in this weekend even thought things did not go as originally planned. Vocals/Band: Again Great energy on stage, wonderful job sharing the lead and making great sounds/music this week. Special Shout our to our newest team member Kensby, you did great with the transition from behind the drum cage to the smaller Christmas set. Tech: Welcome back Kim, it was good to have you on camera again. All camera ops did a great job this week, it made the transition to switcher much easier, I want to encourage you to continue to learn the music each week, feel the music during run-thru and be creative (Just like this week). Anne, Ariel and Mike thank you for stepping up and helping coordinate the services transitions while I was not in my usual spot this week. Kevis: The lights looked strong this week, The use of really bright vs. side light and lower wash really helped set the tempo for worship, Was there less Haze this week?

Yo Yo Yo - - - only got to peek in some so praising for ICampus. But so loving these "family" type worship sets with the group. So sweet...and real!
ReplyDeleteI agree - loved the split verses and new leads. AWESOME! God is all over this series.
