Jon Evans, may a bear any more children that you may have?
Jason, I will tie you down so you can't leave!
Molly and Chris, awesome energy on stage! You guys really brought it this week! I love seeing vocalists not afraid to move about and physically get into the music!
Molly, Everything... KILLED IT!
Video, Overall I really liked the changes we did this week! Cam 2 had some awesome shots panning down from the lights and shooting the candles! Way to get creative, Joey! And Farmer, you did a great job of getting a variety of worship leader shots! You really made use of placing them on the right or left, of the zoom, and of panning! Edwin, you did a great job switching this week! The hard cuts looked great and gave a much cleaner feel to the icampus! For myself, I liked using the soft focus, but I need to not use it so much on the faster songs. And we need to figure out a way to not have the roamer in the background of as many shots. When I was shooting drums I was right in the shots from cam 1. When need to figure out a way around that. Overall, though, these changes rocked! I think we really pulled it off! And next week Chris is gone so who knows what we can get away with!
Also, I will try not to catch the stage on fire next time!
Well I guess that intentionally unplugging and replugging your guitar while you are playing a power chord under high distortion is a less than pleasing effect.
i think the flexibility that the team showed from the first service into the 2nd and third with the changes was really good. big changes on the fly like that can be hard, but everyone stepped up.
Jason, awesome energy as usual.
Jon, you are a beast at the drums.
DWebb, great job on roaming camera - i really like the creative shots you got, especially of the drums!
Angelo - dude, I could watch you play percussion all day - your energy is infectious.
Fuller, getting the congregation involved was awesome and i think everyone loved it - such a fun element.
Chris, dude - you are so much fun to worship with and i think you are a force to be reckoned with.
Rick Harper - dude. you're a beast, too. so unassuming and then BAM, you play that guitar.
Keith - kick butt job on the keys as usual.
I agree with David - I liked the new shots, but it was kinda funny seeing him randomly in the wideshots - so trying to find a way around that would be good - but totally not a dire issue.
I'm still finding myself struggling on feeling confident in the vocal elements - but that's more of a persona challenge of trusting God and trusting myself... which can be difficult.
Overall, I know it was a tough Sunday for many, but I thought it was very powerful.
Loved the lighting on all the songs (especially Let God Arise). Digital delay was awesome, especially on Everything and The Stand. (Special message to Shawn - we're saving the tambourine for when you're playing guitar.)

Good job guys. I was just a worshiper this week, but passing on a couple of comments. Fun watching you, Jason. Liked the spin.
ReplyDeleteI like the candle shots from an artistic point of view, but they frequently wash out the words on the screen.

ReplyDeleteI'm so proud of you Molls! That is such a difficult song, and your sacrifice of praise and PRACTICE was evident!
